check it out. dont see jin or the boat. therefore, he is either dead or the frieghter got warped too, which i believe to be the case.

The zodiac was between the island and the freighter.
If the zodiac gets warped with the island then they won't find jin.
If the freighter got warped with the island then jin, the zodiac would also get warped. But wouldn't the helicopter also get warped?
Unless it had to have some form of contact with the island which it didn't cause it was in the air.
The zodia, freighter and Jin get warped cause they are in the water and the water touches the island.
Maybe? Just don't know.
So you could well be right LDB

I like the idea of Farady picking up Jin.
Micahel, at least according to an interview where Harrold Perineu talks about the writers telling him he was going to be killed off, is dead.

Not really sure if I'd count that as a spoiler, since the scene of him getting killed off happened in the esisode we just saw.

I must have missed the scene of him dead.
As I recall, the last time we saw Jin, he was very much alive.

You are right, its often hard to determine what is and isn't a spoiler, especially when news is involved. I guess a goods rule of thumb is if some piece of info gives a definitive answer about a question or subject being debated or speculated about on the board, use caution and either post a link or post in the spoilers and refer people there. Better safe than sorry in terms of spoilers and it allows those who want to know to find out without finding out accidentally.

I'm leaning towards Jin being alive, but with the warp moving the island, anything or anybody in the water near the island would be moved along with the island. Even if Jin didn't get moved along with the warp and is alive, he could contact Sun, but then do they explain why he wasn't in the Oceanic 6 group. I think he will turn up again, maybe assuming a new identify and be able to resume a life with Sun. I also think now that Sun is in control of her father's company she will go after Widmore.
